The Georgia Renaissance Festival is an interactive art and entertainment festival held each spring combining outdoor theater, circus-style entertainment, and an arts and crafts marketplace, all set inside our recreated 16th-Century European village.

As soon as the gates to our village of Newcastle open, visitors are transported to a magical medieval theme park full of fun and whimsy. Over 150 skilled artisans inhabit charming cottages, creating unique one-of-a-kind treasures for your shopping pleasure. Strolling minstrels fill the air with music, and our colorful village characters are always ready to regale you with a joke, a story, or just plain silliness!

You'll be hard-pressed to pass by one of our kitchens or pubs without sampling something delicious (usually served on a stick!) or a refreshing beverage. Hearty soups, sandwiches, corn on the cob, meat pies, fish and chips, and far too many tempting decadent desserts are the fare of the Faire.
